SWEEPSTAKE : type of contest where a prize is awarded to a selected winner

***Firstly, let me say, I'm fully aware that some things are not fully working with the BC site right now - book search for one is the recurring frustrating one - but I do know that this is being worked on by our Tech Team. However, the people who now make up our Tech Team are no longer unpaid volunteers, therefore this seems a good time to launch the next round of the Supply Store Sweepstake, to raise funds to pay the people helping to get things fixed.***

Round 14 of the International Support BookCrossing - Supply Store Sweepstakes is here!!!
Supply Store purchases are a direct way of putting much needed money into BookCrossing.
By entering the sweepstake, you agree to send something to the 'winner'....however, you yourself might be the winner!

To enter to win, here's what you need to do:

1. Post here in the forum to enter.

2. PM me your mailing details & put "R14 BC's Supply Store Sweeps" in the subject line of your PM.

NO SEND ONLY ENTRIES
You must nominate another BCer, & you will need to PM me:
a) their username;
b) their full name, and;
c) their postal address.

If you don't want supplies and don't want to nominate someone, but you do want to support BC financially, you can do so by hitting the orange 'donate' button on the far right of the footer of any page within the BC website.

3. On Monday 7 August 2023, I'll draw the winner(s)…..if we have enough participants we can have more than the 1 winner and spread the fun!

4. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO MAKE A PURCHASE FROM THE STORE FOR SUPPLIES FOR THE WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKE, NOT JUST USE SUPPLIES YOU ALREADY HAVE, AND YOUR ORDER DELIVERED DIRECTLY FROM THE STORE TO THE WINNER.

5. As the packages start to arrive, the winner must please post in this thread what it is they receive, as it's fun for everyone who's entered to see what the winner has got.

The last round saw 66 participants sign ups - a new record! - and the Supply Store Manager reported that the collective amount of orders from R13 of this Sweeps - which directly benefits BookCrossing - raised US $1600!!
Since starting this Sweeps back in June 2015, the collective amount raised is OVER US$10,150 / £7900 / €9250 / AU$15,150 / NZ$16,345 / CA$13,470 !!

Soooooo..........who's in, and can we beat the current standing record of 66 sign ups that we had for Round 13!!??
